Starting then, New Content Experience will be the default in all sites. Between May 12 & August 16, 2026, users with an instructor role in a course site can toggle between Classic & New Content experiences. The best way to share library resources in Brightspace is with stable, proxied links. These links ensure off-campus access through UA authentication and keep students from running into paywalls when accessing ebooks, articles, and streaming videos. These links can be added directly to a Content module by using Create a Link.

Add a Link to Content
Step 1
Open the desired module and select the Upload/Create button.
Step 2
Select Create a Link.

Step 3
In Title, enter the text the students will select to access the link, most likely the video name.
Step 4
In the URL field, paste the link from the library.
Step 5
Check Open as External Resource.
Step 6
Select Create.
