Let Students View Their Results
Modify the Primary View
By default, students see neither the questions, answers, nor any feedback written for specific questions after submitting a quiz. You can release that information to them by modifying the default quiz results view.
Step 1
Select the Evaluation & Feedback section.
Step 2
Keep the Attempt grade checkbox selected if you want learners to see their attempt grade upon submitting the quiz.
Note
If you plan to grade any part of the quiz manually, we recommend that you do not select to display the Attempt grade. If this option is selected, the score shown to participants will reflect the zeroes D2L assigns to questions that must be manually graded (e.g., Written Response).
Step 3
In the Quiz Results Display dropdown menu, indicate what students will be able to view:
- No questions: students don't see any information regarding questions or answers
- Incorrect questions only, with correct answers: students see only the questions they answered incorrectly with question answers
- Incorrect questions only, without correct answers: students see only the questions they answered incorrectly without question answers
- All questions, with correct answers: students see questions they answered (correctly or not), along with question answers
- All questions, without correct answers: students see all questions in the quiz without question answers
Note
Question-level feedback will show along with the question for whichever questions you allow to show - regardless of whether or not the correct answer is also displayed.
Step 4
You may Save and Close after choosing a Quiz Results Display option from the dropdown menu or continue to customize the view further. See the following steps for further customization.
