Brightspace UA Instructor Training - EDGE Learning
All UA faculty, teaching team members, and staff who teach and work in D2L Brightspace are encouraged to complete the Brightspace UA Instructor Training in EDGE Learning (opens in new tab). It currently includes 2 courses:
- Brightspace Bridge is an introductory course that provides learners with the essential knowledge they need to navigate and start using some of D2L Brightspace's core functionalities.
- Brightspace Build expands on the information covered in Brightspace Bridge, and provides learners with the information they need to build and manage their courses in D2L Brightspace.
Together, these courses take about one hour to complete. Both courses feature videos, scenarios, practice exercises or reflections, and other engaging extras.
We recommend taking the courses in order—Bridge before Build. By following this sequence, you’ll develop a solid foundation of skills and knowledge.
