Explore PlayPosit Playlists

This page compiles information from PlayPosit to guide you through using Playlists. Playlists mostly behave the same as Bulbs in the way they connect to the D2L Gradebook and record learner data, for example.

What is a Playlist?

A PlayPosit Playlist is a collection of media that can include Bulbs, documents, images, and other supplemental materials. Instructors have full control over the Playlist's structure and the learning pace. PlayPosit's example Playlist: We the Digital Citizens (opens in a new tab)

Create a Playlist

Step 1

Access your PlayPosit instructor account. Instructions here: Access PlayPosit

Step 2

Navigate to PlayPosit's Knowledge Base: How to create and assign a playlist in PlayPosit (opens in a new tab). This comprehensive guide provides everything you need to create PlayPosit Playlists.

You can link a Playlist in D2L following the same steps as linking a Bulb. Follow the steps in Add a PlayPosit Bulb to D2L, but select a Playlist instead of a Bulb. Learn more about linking a Playlist at PlayPosit Knowledge Base: How to link a playlist in your LMS (opens in a new tab). To unlink and delete a Playlist, follow the steps in Unlink and Delete a Bulb in D2L.

Monitor a Playlist

Playlists can be graded just like Bulbs. PlayPosit calls this monitoring. Learn more at PlayPosit Knowledge Base: Monitoring a Playlist (opens in a new tab).
