Create and Manage FeedbackFruits Templates

Introduction

Templates are an excellent organizational and time-saving feature built into FeedbackFruits. Templates allow you to create and configure FeedbackFruits activities in a private library (in the FeedbackFruits platform) external to Brightspace. This allows you to pre-configure FeedbackFruits activities and deploy them multiple times and/or to multiple Brightspace courses if you wish, then making only slight adjustments to suit each deployment.

When inserting a template into Brightspace, FeedbackFruits creates a copy of the template with all your settings, instructions, and other text, rubrics, scales, and configurations already set. Then, you can simply adjust the instructions, configurations, and scheduling deadlines for each instance of the template you're inserting into that specific course.

There are three options for creating FeedbackFruits content:

  • Templates
  • Start from Scratch
  • Learning Journeys

Note

This article will only cover Templates. Start from Scratch is a way to create an activity using a blank slate. Learning Journeys are a way to deploy multiple assignments into Brightspace at the same time.

You can access FeedbackFruits from the Existing Activities menu within a course Content module.

Depending on your past experience/use of FeedbackFruits, the FeedbackFruits landing page will appear one of the following ways:
