Print Quiz with Answer Key

One of the most requested Brightspace features is finally here: instructors can now print quizzes from the Manage Quizzes page! 

The print option supports all native Brightspace question types, shuffling, randomization, question pools, multiple versions, and optional Answer Keys. It also offers the option to include fields like name, student ID number, and date, and lets instructors choose which version of the quiz they would like to print.

Versions are offered when a quiz uses Shuffle questions and sections within the quiz or when the Shuffle questions in this section feature is enabled. Versioning also occurs when Randomize answer order is turned on.

The print quiz option now makes it easier than ever to prepare printed assessments for in-person use, accommodation or grading needs, and recordkeeping.

Integrated Technologies Updates

VoiceThread Support Ending

As a reminder, the University of Arizona’s VoiceThread contract expires August 24, 2025, and will not be renewed (as previously communicated to VoiceThread users in October and April).

Key Dates & Actions:

• August 13, 2025: Pro accounts will be offboarded to free basic accounts
• Your content will remain accessible
• You'll need to reset your password (opens in new tab) after August 13, 2025

• LMS integration (Brightspace/D2L)
• Single sign-on capabilities
• Automatic account creation & roster syncing
• Assignment Builder & grading features
• Automatic closed captioning
• Campus tech support
• Custom domain & homepage

Honorlock Activation Delay

The activation of Honorlock in Fall 2025 courses will be delayed until the transition to a new version of the integration (LTI 1.3) is complete. The LTI 1.3 upgrade is designed to enhance security and improve the overall experience for both instructors and students.

The upgrade will occur between August 25th and September 2nd. Course set-up related to Honorlock must wait until the update is complete. Waiting to enable Honorlock in your course ensures a smooth setup process and avoids the need to duplicate work.

Please update the link to HonorLock used in previous semesters as it will not work with the new version.

Feedback Fruits Available in All Courses

In case you missed the news, as of July 1, 2025, instructors no longer need to request to use FeedbackFruits. This external learning tool is now available in all Brightspace course sites by default. Access Feedback Fruits from the Existing Activities button in the Brightspace Content tool.
