Step 1 

From Content, select the module or submodule you desire to edit.

Step 2 

Select the ellipses icon (located between Create New and the directional arrows).

Step 3

Select Edit.

Step 4

Make your desired edits to the module.

Note

To return to Content without any changes, select the Back icon in the upper left. You can select Save as you work to retain any changes made while staying on the page; this is recommended if you're drafting changes in the HTML box so you don't lose your work. 

Step 5

When finished, select Save and Close. 

Delete Module, Submodule or Activity

Step 1 

From Content, select the module, submodule or activity you desire to delete.

Step 2 

Select the ellipses icon (located between Create New and the directional arrows).

Step 3

Select Delete.

Step 4

Choose the desired radio button to save or delete the associated files.

Note

The top radio button removes the module, submodule, topic or activity while keeping the associated file(s); the bottom radio button removes the modules, submodule or activity & permanently deletes any associated file(s).

Important

Deleting an activity (e.g., Assignment, Discussion, Quiz, other) from Content removes the activity from Content but doesn't delete the activity in its respective tool nor any grade item, if present. You must delete the activity in the respective tool, as well as any grade item, if present. 


Deleting an activity (e.g., Assignment, Discussion, Quiz, other) from the associated tool deletes the activity in the tool while leaving it in Content. You must delete the activity from Content, as well, and any grade item, if present.

Step 5

Select Delete. 

Note

It is possible to delete content en masse, if desired, by dragging and dropping the desired items to a single module and then deleting that module as outlined above; please note, this is a permanent process and content cannot be restored.

Edit Activity or Topic

Step 1

From Content, select the activity or topic you desire to edit.

Step 2

Select Edit.
