Using Activity Content & Completion Summary

Activity Content & Completion Summary Overview & FERPA Compliance

The Activity Content panel displays important details about the associated activity.

The Completion Summary organizes real-time data about activities in Brightspace so you can see student completion metrics, access evaluation tools and see assessment results (i.e., grades and rubrics) for student work.

Important

Completion Summary displays by default. In order to maintain student privacy and adhere to FERPA compliance, please ensure you exercise caution when clicking into any item in Content which is attached to student submissions, especially when broadcasting your screen in classroom settings.

Collapsing or Expanding Activity Content & Completion Summary

Step 1

To collapse either Activity Content or Completion Summary, select the Expand and Collapse toggle.

Step 2

To expand either Activity Content or Completion Summary, select the Expand and Collapse toggle.

Important

Toggling collapse or expand applies to all areas of Content, not just the item you're toggling on; navigating away from Content returns the system default of expanded for both Activity Content and Completion Summary. Please exercise caution when broadcasting your screen.
