Top Hat Polling
Top Hat's polling feature allows instructors to upload or create content utilizing Top Hat's website. Quizzes and polls are one of the best ways to get a read on how your students are progressing. You can use them to highlight concepts in different, interactive ways and encourage student collaboration—but with Top Hat, they also create real-time insights that instantly let you know how your class is doing.
Choose from 14 question types, including matching, word answer, and click-on-target. Students can respond from any device with a web-browser, including laptops and mobile devices. Save time with auto-grading functionality and give students quiz results instantly. With Top Hat, instructors can save time with auto-grading, and students can benefit from instant feedback. Instructors can easily integrate low-stakes or ungraded assessments into a course, so that students can practice and demonstrate knowledge in a low-pressure environment.

Top Hat Attendance
Top Hat's automated-attendance feature offers standard, or location-based attendance options. Instructors can pre-set when they would like attendance taken, or take attendance on-demand. Instructors then provide students with the 4-digit attendance code generated by Top Hat. D2L Integration
Top Hat integrates seamlessly with D2L and allows instructors to sync their course roster from D2L into Top Hat, as well as syncing Top Hat grades into D2L. Top Hat content can be embedded in a D2L page or presented live, and any graded activities can easily sync to the D2L gradebook. The D2L integration makes assigning and grading content easy for instructors, while providing interactive content with instant feedback for students.
